Smeerboel is Utrecht's rough-edges festival at the Laagraven lake. It's the unofficial end of the Dutch festival summer, and the sound skews harder than most.

The lake sits right between Utrecht and Nieuwegein — ten minutes by bike from Utrecht Lunetten station, and there's parking next to the water if you drive.
